Meet Chris Knapp

More Than Three Decades of Clinical Experience

Since 1995, Chris Knapp has devoted his career to helping people recover from orthopedic injuries through clinical soft tissue work.

His approach combines careful evaluation with decades of hands-on experience. Chris customizes each treatment plan based on the needs of the case. Every patient is different, so each evaluation and treatment is tailored to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

Understanding the Process

What is Manual Rehab?

Manual Rehab is the culmination of what I've learned from various titans over the years and tens of thousands of cases.

It's the hands-on evaluation and treatment of problems in the connective tissue. When done right, it feels like the oil can for the Tin Woodsman. The work takes advantage of the inherent malleability of the soft tissues (muscles, tendons, nerves, etc.). That malleability is underappreciated in huge swaths of the physical rehab world, where the emphasis is more on exercises, drugs, and various forms of electrical stimulation.
